Cookie Policy

Delivering the site requires no cookies. The only entry we write ourselves is your consent decision, stored in your browser's local storage under the key meridian_consent so the banner does not reappear on every page. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

We load Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode v2. All four signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — default to denied. No measurement or advertising cookie is set before you accept.

If you accept, Google measurement and advertising tags may set cookies on your device. Our advertising containers may also set cookies to cap how often a creative is shown and to measure whether it was seen.

When you follow a commercial link to a retailer or brand, that partner's own network may set a cookie in your browser so a resulting purchase can be attributed to Meridians. That cookie is set by the partner on their own domain, under their own privacy terms, and it never costs you anything.

You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future: clear site data for meridians.news in your browser (settings → privacy → cookies and site data). The consent banner then appears again and you can decline. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings.
