Privacy Policy

What Meridians does with your data when you read the site. Version of 21 August 2026.

1 · Controller

ADLEAPS STRATEGIES OÜ, Pärnu mnt 388b, Nõmme linnaosa, 11612 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia. Email: meridians@ad-leaps.com.

No data protection officer has been appointed.

2 · When you read an article

To deliver a page and keep the site secure, our server processes your IP address, your browser user agent, the time of the request and the referring page.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in delivering and securing the site, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3 · Service providers we use

Lovable — hosting and delivery of the website.

Supabase — database holding the article content.

Pexels — delivery of article images. Loading an image transmits the reader's IP address.

Google — Tag Manager, measurement and advertising, only after consent.

4 · Measurement and advertising

We load Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode v2. All four consent signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — default to denied. Nothing measuring or advertising runs until you accept.

Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, clear site data for meridians.news in your browser (browser settings → privacy → cookies and site data). The consent banner then appears again and you can decline.

5 · Storing the consent decision

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key meridian_consent, so the banner does not reappear on every page.

This is storage on your own device. We keep no server-side record of it.

6 · Retention

Server log data is kept only as long as it is needed for delivering the site and for security.

Your consent decision stays in your browser until you clear it.

7 · Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise any of them, write to meridians@ad-leaps.com or to ADLEAPS STRATEGIES OÜ, Pärnu mnt 388b, Nõmme linnaosa, 11612 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia.

8 · Supervisory authority

You may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia — info@aki.ee — www.aki.ee.

Readers in other EU states may instead contact the supervisory authority in their own country.

9 · Changes

This is the version of 21 August 2026; we update it when our processing changes.
