Battery life, by Google's numbers

Google rates the 41mm model's 332mAh battery at about 30 hours of normal use, or 48 hours in battery saver mode. The larger 45mm model's 465mAh battery is rated at about 40 hours normal use, or 72 hours in battery saver. A 30W USB-C Quick Charge Dock is sold separately.

New health tracking claims

Alongside existing sensors for heart rate, ECG and blood oxygen, Google says the watch adds machine-learning-based blood pressure pattern tracking, insulin resistance metrics, and sleep-stage detection it claims is 15% more accurate than the prior generation. A Breathing Emergency Detection feature is included but, per Google, still pending regulatory approval in the EU. None of these features are FDA-cleared diagnostic tools, and their accuracy has not been independently verified.

Price and availability

The Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model and $429 for 45mm Wi-Fi. A 45mm LTE Stephen Curry Special Edition is priced at $579 and ships September 3, 2026, later than the general release date.
