Two More Mattress Brands Recalled Over Fire Risk — Both Sold on Amazon
Koorlian and Qabefy mattresses violate the federal flammability standard, the CPSC says. Together the recalls cover roughly 1,025 units sold between November 2025 and March 2026.

Two mattress brands sold through Amazon have been recalled within the same week after the Consumer Product Safety Commission found both violate the mandatory federal standard for mattress flammability, a hazard the agency says carries a risk of serious injury or death from fire.
What's being recalled
- Koorlian mattresses: Twin XL, 10 inches thick, about 251 units, sold for $110 to $170 between November 2025 and March 2026. Sold by Dream Bedding Technology Pte. Ltd. on Amazon. Recall number 26-714, announced August 20, 2026.
- Qabefy mattresses: Twin size, 10 inches thick, white top with black sides and orange trim, item number CD01101US, about 774 units, sold for $120 to $140 over the same window. Announced August 13, 2026.
The hazard
Both notices use identical language: the mattresses "violate the mandatory flammability standard for mattresses, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire." That federal standard requires mattresses to resist ignition and limit how quickly a fire can spread if one does start — a baseline safety requirement for any mattress sold in the US.
What to do if you have one
The remedies differ. Koorlian owners can get a free protective cover from Dream Bedding Technology designed to bring the mattress into compliance with the flammability requirement. Qabefy owners are offered a full refund, but must first mark the mattress "Recalled" along with their name and the date, photograph it, email the photo to the company, and then dispose of the mattress before the refund is issued.
